Chandra Devi wins North East Dancing Best Moms Season 3

52-year-old Chandra Devi from Mariani was declared the winner of the third edition of North-East Dancing Best Moms in a glittering finale held at the auditorium of Holy Cross Higher Secondary School, Dimapur on December 17.   Manisha Limbu from Dimapur and Parash Moni from Dibrugarh were declared the first runner-up and second runner-up respectively among a total of 14 remaining participants since the auditions that commenced in March 2017.   Presented by Everyday Salt and organised by Dimapur based Murti Films Pvt. Ltd., the finale had Basu Damani, NPF general secretary as the chief guest and social activist Sashi Dubey as the guest of honour.   Renowned movie star Kalpana Shah who has appeared in many Bhojpuri, Hindi, Bengali and movies of other languages was the special guest for the event along with Mumbai based fight choreographer Sensai Prince Mishra, Naresh Jain and Rakesh Jain from Everyday Salt and president of Jain Samaj Om Prakash Sethi.   Brainchild of actor Munna Yadav, the first edition of the show was organised in the year 2015 with the intention of providing a platform to those mothers who have the talent to entertain but do not get the opportunity to showcase their skills, according to a press release.   The judges for the show this time were Nekib Rehman and Lipika Jindal while the host was Alisha Bordoloi.   Second season’s second runners-up and manager of SBI Old Market Branch Gwanilie Khing Rengma also put up a special performance during the grand finale.   On Monday, actress Kalpana Shah interacting with the organisers at Hotel Shilhouette described her first ever visit to Nagaland as a very pleasant experience contrary to what she had heard about it from her friends.   Congratulating the entire team for the success of the event, she said that promoting women through the show is the most positive aspect it.   During the interaction, Sensai Prince Mishra also revealed the name of the upcoming project under the banner of Murti Films as ‘Ara Jilla Ukhad Dela Kella,’ in which Munna Yadav will play the lead role besides other actors including Sensai Prience Mishra, Kalpana Shah, Ansu Khan, Upasana and others.
