Maligaon, November 20 (MExN): Chandrajit Saikia, retired Principal Head of the HR Department of NF Railway has been selected for ‘Silver Elephant’, the highest National Award of Bharat Scouts and Guides.
In an update received here, it stated that the award will be presented to him at Raj Bhawan, Lucknow on November 26 in conjunction with the National Jamboree of Bharat Scouts and Guides scheduled to be held in Lucknow from November 23 to 29, where about 30,000 Scouts and Guides members from all across the country is set to participate.
This award is given to Indian or Foreign nationals for extraordinary contribution of most exceptional nature towards the development of the Scouts and Guides Movement.
