Kohima, June 24 (MExN): The Federal Assembly of Tuensang- Mon Students’ Federation (TMSF) was held at Tuensang on June 9 and unanimously resolved to chance its nomenclature from Tuensang –Mon Students’ Federation (TMSF) to Eastern Nagaland Students’ Federation (ENSF) as apex body, encompassing four districts, Tuensang, Mon, Kiphire and Longleng consisting of 6 major tribes viz, Konyak, Chang, Khiamniungan, Sangtam, Yimchunger and Phom.
The federation unit (s) to the ENSF is Konyak Students’ Union, Khiamniungan Students’ Union, Phom Students’ Conference, Confederation of Chang Students Union, United Sangtam Students Conference and Yimchunger Students’ Union. Informing this in a release, the Federation General Secretary P. Methna Konyak directed all the subordinate bodies within and outside Nagaland to chance their nomenclature corresponding to the apex body with immediate effect.
