Officials and players during the 1st Open Tsüngremmong Futsal Tournament held at Changtongya Town Local Ground on August 1-2.
Changtongya, August 3 (MExN): The Changtongya Students’ Union (CKT) organised its 1st Open Tsüngremmong Futsal Tournament at the Changtongya Town Local Ground on August 1-2.
A total of 20 teams from various areas within and around the Changtongya sub-division participated in the tournament.
After two days of competition, the United Brothers Tuli (B) emerged as the champions and were awarded a cash prize of `30,000 along with certificates. Chuchuba Team (A) was the runner-up, receiving `20,000 and certificates.
In individual awards, Tajungsang of Dejavu FC was named ‘Most Promising Player’, while Thejasavo of Brother’s United Tuli (B) earned the title of ‘Player of the Tournament’. Imnasunep of Brother’s United Tuli (B) was declared the ‘Best Goalkeeper’, and Baben of Chuchuba Team (A) was recognised for scoring the most goals.
C Wangan, Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) of Changtongya, was the inaugural guest of the tournament, and Lanutoshi Aier, President of the Ao Students’ Conference, graced the closing ceremony.
