DIMAPUR, AUGUST 11 (MExN): In view of continuous rock fall, mudflow and landslides occurring at several stretches along the Changtongya-Longleng National Highway-702, the movement of all kinds of vehicles including Light Motor Vehicles (LMVS), along the aforementioned route will be restricted from 6:00 pm of August 12 to 6:00 am of August 14. A notice issued through the DIPR advised all travelers to avoid taking the said route and to take the alternate route (Longleng- Chingtok (IR Camp)-Merangkong-Netnyu) during the restricted period.
