Changtongya, December 29 (MExN): The 7th edition of the Changtongya Town Inter-Ward Cricket Tournament commenced today, marking the start of a three-day sporting event involving teams from across the town.
Temjennungsang, Chairperson of the Changtongya Town Council, attended the opening ceremony as the guest of honour and formally inaugurated the tournament.
A total of 10 teams, representing various wards of Changtongya town, are participating in the competition, informed a press release.
The tournament aims to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and community engagement among youth and residents of the town.
The inter-ward cricket tournament is scheduled to conclude on December 31.
