Kiphire, March 10 (MExN): As part of its charity initiative, the Charitable Trust Brothers’ Kiphire visited District Hospital, Kiphire on March 8. During the visit, the Charitable Trust Brothers’ (CTB) members handed over ‘Needy Patient Fund’ to the hospital.
The Trust informed in a press release that this noble project was started last year with the hope that the small amount contributed by the CTB might be a great help for some. “As we have come across many incident that some poor patient from far flung villages came to hospital for treatment but they cannot buy even a dose of medicine due to various reasons. Witnessing this, CTB felt the necessity to initiate change and support to the best possible that we can,” Horiba Sangtam from CTB informed.
CTB shared its concern on the lack of necessary facilities and specialist doctors especially Gynecologist at DHK and appealed the authority to give priority on health sector for the most remote part of the State like Kiphire.
The trust also informed that Governor of Nagaland contributed Rs 10,000/- in addition to the fund and he is also sponsoring five girl child under “Beti Bachao Bedi Padhao” under the initiative of CTB.
The Charitable Trust Brothers’ was formed in 2011 with an objective to work for the cause of humanity especially towards downtrodden, homeless and hopeless. Various charity works were initiated by the CTB in the District for the last 5 to 6 years. Last year one girl child was fully sponsored for the academic year and this year, CTB will be sponsoring six months each school tuition fee for three students from the needy family.
