Kohima, August 2 (MExN): Checking of adulteration of fuel, public hygiene facilities, fire safety measures and random checking of quality and quantity data of fuel in the fuel stations within the Kohima Municipality area and all other fuel stations under Kohima district including North Kohima, South Kohima, Chiephobozou, Zubza, Jakhama and Kezocha was conducted from July 15 to 29.
The Deputy Commissioner & Chairperson District Implementation Committee, NCAP, Kohima, Shanavas C IAS informed that the exercise was undertaken as per the National Clean Air Programme (NCAP) 2022-23 for Kohima City, a DIPR report stated.
The exercise was conducted as per the guidelines of the Central Pollution Control Board, with the following departments: District Administration, Kohima & Police; Legal & Metrology and Consumer Protection, Kohima; Medical Department; Kohima Municipal Council and Fire & Emergency Services North & South Kohima, Chiephobozou, Khuzama.
