Kohima, December 13 (MExN): A five-day long 57th Games & Sports meet 2022 of Chesezu Youth Association (CYO) got underway today at Chesezu local ground under Phek district.
Nagaland Wushu Association President and Entrepreneurs Development Agency Chairman Küdecho Khamo graced the inaugural session as the chief guest.
In his address, he impressed upon the sportspersons to give their best in specific discipline they are good at to be a successful sportsperson.
He informed that Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, who is also president of Nagaland Olympic Association, is serious for promotion of sports in the state.
He also reiterated his aspiration to serve and work for the welfare of the people in the constituency.
In this regard, he sought people's blessing, support and prayers to serve the people.
He also spoke about Chief Minister’s Micro Finance Initiative (CMMFI) which can benefit the villagers where upcoming entrepreneurs can avail loan upto Rs. 15 lakh. He also spoke on Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) that provide health insurance coverage for the public.
Closing ceremony will be graced by Vekhosayi Nyekha, president Western Tenyimi Hoho president on December 17.
