Phek, January 13 (MExN): Chesezu village has expressed apology to the people of Sumi village under Phek District. In a press release, Kühusayi Nyekha, Chairman, Tsüswüveh, Chesezu village stated that the hosting village of the 37th General Session of the Chakhesang Public Organisation (CPO) cum 5th Chakhesang Day held on January 9 and 10 made an inadvertent error in not including “Sumi village name” in the Google Map of Phek District reproduced and used during the celebrations as decoration.
“We appreciate this issue being brought forth to our attention and we humbly seek your pardon,” the release stated. The CPO hosting village, Chesezu accepted full responsibility for the error committed but was hopeful and prayed that this issue will not hamper their future interactions as Chakhesangs.
