Mon, November 21 (MExN): CHILDLINE Mon conducted a weeklong campaign of ‘Childline Se Dosti’ to mark the Child Rights’ week from November 14 to 21.

The event endows an opportunity for CHILDLINE to make friendship with the children by interacting with them and explicate about Child Rights and Child Abuses, informed a press release received here.

On November 17 and 19, the CHILDLINE Mon Team visited the Christ King High School and St Mary’s High School, Mon, respectively to conduct drawing competition for the students of classes 9 and 10.  The Team explained the children about Childline 1098 services and about various Child Rights. The principal of both the schools appreciated and thanked the Childline Mon for taking the initiative to spread the awareness through the activities. The drawing competition was conducted under the theme ‘Childline Se Dosti.’

The result was declared on November 21 to mark the weeklong campaign. The team continued to reach out to the communities by distributing leaflets, giving awareness and putting up posters in the Mon town areas.
