Dimapur, December 28 (MExN): Organisers of the Children Festival 2017 scheduled from January 5 to 7 have decided to extend the date for last day of submission of forms to January 3, 12 noon at KWC office, Khermahal, opposite Tata Parking, Dimapur. Those who are yet to collect the forms have been requested to do so from the same place. A press note from the organisers said that the confirmed speakers and resource persons till date will be coming from USA, Taiwan, Switzerland and Singapore. “More speakers are expected to be confirmed in a week time,” it added. The age eligible for the festival is from 7 to 16 years. Children who are looking forward to the festival are expected to reach the venue, The Maple Tree School, by 8:00 am on January 5. The children have been informed to fill their stomach before they come to the festival. They will be provided light lunch in the middle of the sessions. Meanwhile, the participants are to bring drinking water, bible, pen, and note book. There will be workshop for parents and registration for parents as well as children will be Rs. 200/-each While encouraging the participants to invite friends, the orgnaisers assured them lots of fun, laughter, singing, topical workshops and stories at the festival.
