CHK demands justice for minors

Kohima, April 22 (MExN): The Chakhesang Hoho Kohima (CHK) has vehemently condemned the April 17 incidence in Kohima where one Yankiuba of Chessore village perpetrated the most inhuman act against the two minors. The CHK President, Theja Therieh and General Secretary, Sakhohu Vadeo in a press release called upon all to condemn and abhor such barbaric acts.

The hoho has appealed to the investigating agencies to deliver fair and time duty in order to ensure deliverance of justice.

It also demanded that no bail whatsoever should be granted to the culprit till justice is delivered and that the severest punishment be awarded to the culprit so as to deter such crime in future.

“Justice delayed is justice denied. Hence, the CHK demands that the case should be settled at the earliest and that the befitting punishment given be made public,” it reiterated.
