Chümoukedima, August 10 (MExN): Advisor for Sericulture, Excise & Minority Affairs Zhaleo Rio inaugurated the District Education Officer’s office at the DC’s Complex in Chümoukedima on August 10.
Speaking on the occasion, Zhaleo Rio noted that not all Government Schools function to the desired standards while some are doing well. The department and the teachers should improve the government schools with a collective effort since education is very vital for every citizen and a better future, he said.
According to a DIPR report, the inaugural programme was attended by Chümoukedima Deputy Commissioner Abhinav Shivam Principal Director for School Education Thavaseelan K, senior officials from the department, and teachers.
