Chümoukedima, June 8 (MExN): Chümoukedima district conducted its 1st monthly District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting at the DCs Conference Hall, Chümoukedima on June 7.
Chairman DPDB of Chümoukedima and also Advisor for Sericulture, Excise and Minority Affairs GON, Zhaleo Rio urged upon the members for rendering their cooperation and active participation for the betterment of the district and for uplifting the welfare of the citizens.
A DIPR report stated that the house discussed on the establishment of degree college by Chakroma Student Union; formation of District Football Association Chümoukedima; registration of New Capstone School, Thilixu Village; Upgradation of Tuyitu Foundation, Diphupar Village; JNV school at Phiphema. After thorough discussion, the house decided to send a proposal to the Government, it stated.
The meeting also approved proposals of society registration of Outset Craft Society Diphupar 'A' Village and Tuyitu Society Diphupar Village. While, Nagaland Development Board located at Tenyiphe-ll and Gracious Life Foundation 4th Mile Dimapur was evaluated and forwarded for further consideration during the next DPDB meeting.
Further, identification of land for public-park at Chümoukedima town was also discussed and for which the House entrusted the DLRSO to look into the modalities for earmarking the land. The members also decided to send a proposal to the Government for fund allocation for the development of the park The house also approved LADP 2022-2023 Schemes for 5-Ghaspani -ll AC.
DC Chümoukedima, Abhinav Shivam IAS, directed all the departments for preparing a vision document/plan for the new district of Chümoukedima in the next few months. He informed on the declaration and adoption of one Government school by administration and appealed to all departments for rendering their support and to follow suit.
