Kohima, January 9 (MExN): The 27th meet of Chokri Area Wrestling Association (CAWA) will be held at Khulazu Basa village local ground, Phek district on January 12. According to a press release, Dr. Chotisüh Sazo, Advisor, Social Welfare, will grace the occasion as the chief guest and Vivolie Kezo, class-1 contractor as the guest of honour. The cash prize will be awarded to the four best Naga style wrestlers with the champion assured a cash prize of Rs. 70,000 sponsored by the CAWA. The runner-up will win Rs. 60,000 sponsored by Er. Mhaseto Nakro, principal of Polytechnic College, Atoizu. The third prize (Rs. 50,000) will be sponsored by Ciekrotso Chüzho, class -1 contractor, while the fourth prize amounting to Rs. 40,000 will be sponsored by Zhovehü Kezo, Secretary, VDB Khulazu Basa, the release said. The one-day event will feature the top Chokri wrestlers like Venuzo Dawhuo, Pfusato Tetseo, Besühveto Cümu and Thepukhoyi Swiiro. The release added that the tickets for the event will be priced at “Rs. 1000 for donors, Rs 400 for chair middle row, Rs. 200 for chair third row and gallery at Rs.100, respectively.”
