Dimapur, September 26 (MExN): Under the theme “Witnessing God’s Faithfulness,” the Christian Forum Dimapur (CFD) will commemorate its 25th Jubilee on September 28 from 10 AM at the Dimapur Sumi Baptist Church. Rev Dr Zelhou Keyho, General Secretary of the Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC), will be the keynote speaker at the event.
A press release from the CFD stated that it has played a pivotal role in fostering unity, promoting interdenominational cooperation, and advocating for social justice in the city.
Over the past 25 years, CFD has stood as a beacon of hope and faith, reflecting on God's unwavering faithfulness through its countless contributions to society, it said.
With a heart for service and a mission to spread Christ's love, CFD has initiated numerous community outreach programs, supporting the marginalized, facilitating dialogue for peace, and advocating for the welfare of the people of Dimapur, it added.
Among others, it also highlighted that during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Forum was at the forefront, providing aid to the vulnerable and offering spiritual support in challenging times.
Similarly, during the Manipur crisis, CFD played a key role in mobilizing relief efforts and working alongside other organizations to bring aid to those affected, it added.
Stating that the 25th Jubilee marks a significant milestone, celebrating a legacy of faith, service, and unity, the Forum invited the community of Dimapur and all well-wishers to join this special occasion.
