Christians should lead truthful lives: Patton

Wokha, January 20 (MExN): Deputy Chief Minister of Nagaland, Y Patton said Christians should lead an honest and truthful lives in every realm and aspect be it social, political or religion.


He said that an honest life transforms the society. Exhorting a gathering at the Platinum Jubilee celebration of Koio Baptist Church, Wokha on January 20, he stated that Jubilee is a time to retrospect and introspect God's blessings in the past, stated a press release issued by Dy. CM media cell.


Every Jubilee is a milestone achievement, he said and further stressed that Jubilee is a time to forgive and forget and to revive a new beginning with a new hope.


Patton also reiterated that the misuse of modern gadgets, particularly mobile phones is rapidly diminishing the work culture in the Naga society and most vulnerable sections are to the student community at large.


Patton expressed hope that the platinum jubilee celebration will bring forth many bountiful blessings to Koio Baptist Church.


The two-day Platinum jubilee celebration was held under the theme “The truth has set you free” John 8:32 and it was spoken during Sunday devotional sermon delivered by Rev. Dr. L Tsanso, President Lotha Baptist Church Association.


The Jubilee Monolith was dedicated by Rev. Nyanchumo Lotha, Executive Secretary LBCA on 19th January.
