Advisor Nyusietho Nyuthe gracing the Christian Higher Secondary School, Meluri Golden Jubilee celebration on May 24.
Meluri, May 26 (MExN): Christian Higher Secondary School, Meluri celebrated its Golden Jubilee with Z Nyusietho Nyuthe, MLA & Advisor, N&RE, NSDMA as the special guest on May 24.
The programme commenced with an invocation by Rev Müluote, Pastor, MVBC and ended with a benediction by Rev Tivisie Pojar, Pastor, BCMT. Wungnaoshon Tangvah, Vice Principal chaired the programme.
In his speech, the special guest said that every institution has its own story, and CHSS is one that exhibited ‘dedication, perseverance, and a steadfast commitment to our values.’ He said, “As we look back over the years, we see God’s hand at work, guiding us through times of challenge and triumph.”
The founding members laid the foundation with a vision rooted in faith, education, and community. They understood that an education grounded in spiritual values was essential to shaping the character of young men and women, he added.
Earlier, the Jubilee monolith was dedicated by Rev Rümatho Nyusou, Executive Secretary, PBCC and unveiled by the special guest. Around 2,000 people attended the programme which included a good number of alumni from various places across the states, stated a press release issued by Thsütho Kajiri, Member Secretary, Organising Committee.
