Chumukedima, September 20 (MExN): The first Chumukedima Area Hostellers’ Fellowship was organised by Students Christian Fellowship Chumukedima on September 18 at Police Baptist Church, 15th NAP (IR) Bn. with the theme “Abundant Life: Student”.
The speaker, Rev. Vichukho Neikha, Chaplain, Patkai Christian College, encouraged the students to study diligently and do their best in their studies. Based on John 2:1-12, he reminded the students that “abundant life is possible only through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,” informed a press release from the organisers.
Citing the example of the wedding at Canna, he said that just as Jesus saved the wedding feast from disaster due to shortage of wine, he has the capacity to give us quality abundant life. “Each day is a gift from God; therefore, being a student, we should be obedient and give our best to God through studies,” he stated.
