Longleng, August 7 (MExN): The Youth Departments of Yachem Baptist Church and Noksosang Baptist Church jointly organized a ‘Friendship Night’ at Yachem Baptist Church on August 6 with Honla Phom, Associate Pastor for Women, YBC as speaker.
Speaking on the theme, ‘Love your friends at all time’ (Proverbs 17:17), she called upon the youth of two churches to have a realistic concept of friendship through extending helping hands to each other in times/situation of need. She also emphasized on the ability to make sacrifice for each other for common well being and also in order to maintain peace among all humankind and in the society, stated a press release from Chongmei Phom, Youth Pastor, YBC and Hamsho Phom, Youth Pastor, NBC.
The programme was chaired by Toimei Phom, while invocation was pronounced by Pangten Phom, ex-pastor YBC. The presentations during the event included choreography by Yachem Anuti Lunglak, special appearance by Hamsho, Associate Pastor for Youth NBC, Male Voice by Yachem and Noksosang Elders and L. Baüham. The gathering was entertained with ‘Laugh out Loud’ by Hamchei and Hennok, and a musical drama was presented by Henphi and Chulen.
