Churches Colony Council directs  garages and motor workshops 

Dimapur, June 24 (MExN): The Churches Colony Council (CCC), Dimapur held an emergency meeting on June 20, pertaining to the welfare of the colony and adopted resolutions for the garages and motor workshops for “strict compliance and non-adherence of which shall invite penalty.”

 Informing about the resolution, CCC, Chairperson, Kuholy Chishi in a press release stated that only power and commercial line should be used due to their usage of heavy power consuming equipments.

The houses decided that oil, lubricants, paints and chemicals should not be spilled on the ground. It should be stored in a container and disposed in proper manner.

Fire extinguishers should be kept or installed for emergency which should be complied within one month from the date of issue of this notice.

The council directed that tyres and waste should not be burned and also vehicle repairing, painting, accessories fitting should not be carried out on roads.

It also resolved that double lane parking on roads should not be done. “Sunday closure is compulsory except for cleaning purposes and the working timings earlier notified is to be strictly followed.” it added.
