Shillong, September 9 (MExN): Circle Level ‘Dak Adalat’ will be held in the Office of the Chief Postmaster General, North East Circle, Shillong on September 26 at 11:00 am. The Dak Adalat will entertain grievances pertaining to Postal Service for its redressal.
Written complaints may be sent through Ordinary Post or Speed Post with the subject ‘Dak Adalat’ superscribed on the cover, addressed to the Chief Postmaster General, North East Circle, Shillong-793001.
An update stated here that the complaints should contain full details like complete address and registration receipt number, etc. For complaints about Savings Schemes and Postal Life Insurances, the account number, policy number and full address of the depositor/insurer should be given.
Written complaints should be sent so as to reach this office on or before September 20. Complaints, if any, received after this period will be redressed through the usual channel. Complaints can also be sent in the email address pg.ne@indiapost.gov.in
