DIMAPUR, APRIL 30 (MExN): All candidates from Nagaland who appeared for the 2026 Class X (ICSE) and Class XII (ISC) examinations for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), have qualified.
A press release from Dr Joseph Emmanuel, Chief Executive & Secretary, CISCE informed that a total of 135 candidates appeared for the ICSE examination from four schools in the state, while 34 candidates appeared for the ISC examination from one school. All candidates in both examinations achieved a 100% pass rate.
Among ICSE candidates, 64 were boys (47.41%) and 71 were girls (52.59%). In the ISC examination, 15 were boys (44.12%) and 19 were girls (55.88%). Boys and girls recorded equal qualified percentages in both examinations.
The ICSE examination was conducted across 67 written subjects nationally, including 20 Indian languages, 14 foreign languages, and one classical language. The ISC examination covered 45 written subjects, including 13 Indian languages, two foreign languages, and two classical languages.
