CITE Nagaland Chapter conducts Start-Up India Meet

Dimapur, July 7 (MExN): The Nagaland State Chapter of Confederation of Indian Tribal Entrepreneurs (CITE) conducted Start Up India meet 2019 on July 6 last at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur.

The meet discussed on importance of trade and commerce, entrepreneurs partnerships with government department and agencies and how to secure finance for the businesses from National Scheduled Tribes Finance & Development Corporation (NSTFDC), Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India.

Johny G Rengma, Director, NSTFDC, Ministry of Tribal Affairs delivered keynote address.

He said that the NSTFDC will help tribal entrepreneurs to start their businesses according to their choice.

“Entrepreneurial development in our state is key to empower youth to live with healthy economic life,” he said. 

He was optimistic that Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio would endeavor for economic empowerment to the youth through entrepreneurship.

The guest speakers included Neeva Boro, representative, NSTFDC, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India and David Kire, OSD, Investment Development Agency, Nagaland.

Earlier, the function was chaired by Nagaland chapter CITE general secretary Neithsho Wezah while welcome address was delivered by Nagaland chapter CITE chairman Lima Longkumer.

Vote of thanks was proposed by Nagaland chapter CITE vice chairman Khiwamo Kath.
