The much needed extension of four classrooms and overhead footbridge of Christ King Higher Secondary School (CKHSS) Kohima were inaugurated today by Rev Fr Netsor Guria, SDB Salesian Provincial of Dimapur.

Dedicating the new building extension and the footbridge connecting the primary section of the school with the higher section and playground, Rev. Fr. Guria called upon the school management to provide quality education.

He appreciated that the management constructed the footbridge considering the safety aspects of the children while crossing the road between the two sections.

Chairman of P Khel, Kohima Village, Kruyie Pienyü also lauded the efforts of the school in not only imparting education but also taking up developmental activities.

Fr. Peter Salew, SDB Parish Priest delivered the welcome address while President of Catholic Union Albert Keneingu tendered the vote of thanks.
