Tuensang, April 27 (MExN): The inaugural programme of the 72nd General Session of Chang Tribal Council (CKS) was held on April 27 at Tuensang H.Q with CL John Minister RD, REPA Nagaland as chief guest.
The Minister in his speech encouraged the people of Eastern Naga to maintain the spirit of oneness among the tribes. He discouraged depending on easy money and urged people to remain self-dependent by using all available resources especially in the field of promoting economic condition, growth and progress as well. He further elaborated on how a true Christian should maintain the Christian principle and its teaching which is the only power to mitigate all differences and corrupt practices.
The programme was followed by cultural events at parade ground Tuensang Town which was participated by Chingmei village, Yali village, Changen cultural troupe, Chongpo Khel Tuensang village and Pilashi Khel Tuensang village Cultural troupe.
