TUENSANG, MARCH 7 (MExN): In line with the Eastern Nagaland People’s Organisation’s resolution to all its federating tribal units, the Chang Khulei Setshang (CKS) will affect a total bandh (shutdown) on March 8, from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm in the entire Chang territory.
The CKS informed that there will be exemptions however for students appearing the Board Exams, weddings, medical emergencies, Fire & Emergency Services, Media, ENPO Talk Team and ENPO/Tribal/Frontal Organization leaders with valid ID issued by the respective heads.
The ENPO, on March 5, had resolved to impose total bandh in the eastern Nagaland district in resentment against the Government of India delaying the settling of the offer for creation of the proposed Frontier Nagaland Territory.
