DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 22 (MExN): Apropos the news report ‘AAUD condemns’ carried on November 22 in the local newspapers, the Aghünato Areami Union Dimapur (AAUD) has clarified that the accused “Pvt Herato of Ghoshito village” should be read as “Herato, son of Toniho Yepthomi of Ghoshito village” and not Herato H. Achumi of Ghoshito village whose native village is Phulesheto, BPO Aghünato under Zünheboto District. “It was being made to understand by various law enforcing agencies that owing to the same namesake hailing from the same village, Herato H. Achumi of Ghoshito village was unduly harassed over the unfortunate killing of Daniel Yepthomi for which no one was to be blamed,” AASUD Chairman K Ahovi Sema clarified.
