Classic Club Kohima contributes Rs. 50,000 to CM Relief Fund

Classic Club Kohima on Tuesday contributed Rs. 50,000 towards CM’s Relief Fund. Classic Club President, K Neibou Sekhose announced this during the 13th Classic Award 2018 function here. Class I contractor Vilelie Khamo was the recipient of the award, which carry a cash award of Rs. 25,000 along with citation. Sekhose said the club will be celebrating its silver jubilee next year; with various activities to be taken up as part of the year-long celebration. They include renovation of assets created by the Club; sponsoring under privilege students and sportspersons; to strengthen the Orphanage home Library, and celebrating Christmas with Orphanage Home, Old age Home etc.  

The Club will also organize seminar/workshop with NGOs to develop better understanding while working for social welfare. It will also undertake a tour of all 11 districts of the state and the NE states to propagate the message of peace.  

The yearlong celebration will also feature inter school dance competition, music concert, awards to 3 best NGOs, Classic Award 2019 and the silver jubilee celebration coinciding with the 25th Classic Cup 2019 final.
