Kohima, November 19 (MExN): Classic Club Kohima (CCK) won the 10th Challenger Cup defeating the Kohima Press Club (KPC) 4-1 today at the Kohima local ground. KPC was the first to open the account with Narain B. Sagar scoring in the 3rd minute of play. It was 30 minutes before CCK equalized. After the lemon break, the CCK side saw a number of substitutions with younger players replacing the older players. It proved fruitful as CCK began to dominate play. It was not long before Mhaler Sekhose made it 2-1 followed by a brace from Ruovizhalie to easily take the match. Narain B. Sagar of KPC was adjudged the title scorer of the match, Tseituo Mere of CCK - best defender, H.K. Chishi of KPC - best goalkeeper, Neibu Sechii of KPC - best midfielder, Ruovizhalie of CCK - highest goal scorer and Neibu Sekhose, president of CCK was adjudged the player of the tournament. All the individual title winners received certificates from the guest of honour Vizale Sale, pastor, CRC, Merhulietsa.
