Clement Imsong appointed advisory board member of ‘Stage Works’

T-Series, one of the biggest music conglomerates in the world with 88 million subscribers recently launched ‘Stage Works,’ an institute for film, music and performing in Guwahati, a first of its kind in the entire North East Region.

Stage Works, an initiative of Satyam Group of Industries and DH Productions, will provide an opportunity to budding talents of NE to brush up their skills and prepare them to perform in the world stage.

This was announced by Dr Pankaj K Gupta, fashion analyst Milan and a member of the Board of Advisors, Gulshan Kumar Film & Television Institute of India (GKFTII), one of the three educational initiatives of T-Series, at a press briefing here at ‘The Garden’ on Friday. 

Gupta also informed that Clement Imsong, the frontman of Nagaland’s popular rock band ‘Lords of Rock’ has been appointed as advisory board member of Stage Works.

“They have made the biggest institute in Guwahati with the best faculties from the Bollywood industry. Now the hidden talents of North East can easily access their dream destination through this golden opportunity of Stage Works,” he said.

Courses offered include singing, acting, modeling, dance, camera & lighting techniques, still photography, direction production of film and TV, film and video editing and news reading & TV anchoring.

Acknowledging his appointment as advisory board member, Clement Imsong said the launch of Stage Works is great news for the NE youth, especially the budding talents of Nagaland. Imsong hope said Stage Works would act as a bridge between the talented youth and the entertainment industry, to help tap the potential of aspiring artists and provide a platform to them in the global arena.

Gupta exuded confidence that Imsong’s appointment would go a long way in tapping and exposing the hidden talents in interior parts of Nagaland.

The duo also informed that T-Series would soon come up with an event in Nagaland in the form of a free concert with leading artistes from Bollywood taking part in the show.
