Chumoukedima, November 24 (MExN): The Chumoukedima Lotha Hoho (CLH) on Monday welcomed the demolition of illegal encroachments in the Airport area by the State government.
According to a press update, the Hoho hopes the government will continue and complete the demolition of all illegal encroachments hindering necessary infrastructure developments and also identify all erring officials whosoever are involved and take necessary actions as per the law.
At the same time, the Hoho also appreciated the wisdom, magnanimity and farsightedness of Dr Nephiu Rio for successfully bringing about the merger of the two major Regional Political Parties as NPF, based on the principle of “forgiveness and reconciliation,” sending out a clarion call to all Nagas to shun the selfish divisive policies plaguing the Naga society both at political and social levels.
It asserted that these bold steps were seen as a sincere effort to install a sense of oneness among all Nagas which, it stated, “is a crying need of the hour for the Naga society today.”
The Hoho further appealed to all Nagas to adopt this much needed principle of Forgiveness and Reconciliation to rebuild the Naga society once again.
