Cliffers winner of Kiphire Rockaware 2011

Cliffers of Kiphire was declared winner of the NSACS Rockaware - Red Ribbon/Super star Campaign beating five bands last night at the crowd packed town hall Kiphire to compete for the grand finale to be staged on 15th October at Dimapur.
Speaking at the occasion as special guest Er Namang Supong Chang EAC Kiphire said, ‘33 million people worldwide are infected with HIV/AIDS where 2 million people die every day and added, Nagaland is also in 6th position when it comes to HIV/AIDS and express his concern’.
He also said, ‘Only medicine available for HIV/AIDS is prevention and asked the youngster to take the message back home and reach the people who are in need.
The Brand Ambassador NSACS Renbeni Oduyo presented song and interacted with 3250 students from Loyola Higher Secondary School, Government High School, and Agape school in the morning session accompanied by the State co-ordinator Rockaware Theja Meru.
Dr Sungit Jamir Chief Medical Officer who also spoke on the occasion encourage the youth to make the best use of the talent and said, better late than never come forward and live positively in every avenues’.
Indira shared his testimony on behalf IDU recovered said, ‘if my dad was alive I would have said, sorry dad for all the trouble I bring home but since he is dead and gone am sure my dad will be proud to see his son taking the stage tonight’.
Tia who spoke on behalf of KpNP+ challenges the youngsters, ‘There are many choices n life so choose carefully’. He also encourage the youngster to come forward for blood testing so that one knows the status also added unless one test the blood no one will know whether a person is infected with HIV/AIDS or not’.
Ariba from IBAPWO IDU recovered also shared his testimony.
