Mustang FC today defeated Merhulietsa FC 3-0 at the ongoing Lirunas presents 10th Morning Premier League (MPL) 2025 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
Khrietuo netted two goals for the winning team Mustang FC while Zelie added another goal.
Earlier, on Tuesday, Morning FC blanked United Bulls 3-0.
Metao opened the account for Morning FC in the early 7th minute while Dikwa and Kazi added a goal each in the 75th and 76th minute respectively.
The closing day match on July 17 will be played between Kohima Police and Unity FC at 7:00 AM.
Meanwhile, the closing programme of the 10th anniversary edition of MPL will take place on July 17 at 9:00 AM at Indira Gandhi Stadium Kohima.
K. Neibou Sekhose, president Nagaland Football Association will be the chief guest while Col. Tarun Rana, commandant 13th Assam Rifles and Ezhotou Keyho, Femina Miss India Nagaland 2023 will be the special guest.
