Beyond Beautiful - Miss Mon 2019
A night of ‘beauty, poise and intelligence’ is in offing as 11 young and elegant ladies compete for the title Miss Mon 2019 on Friday. Each contestant will be representing different KNSK Unit/area of across the state. The beauty pageant is held under the theme, ‘Beyond Beautiful” promises to charm the audience not only with glamour but innate beauty and talent. Among others, the event will also showcase a Fashion show by Henkam Konyak and performances by Shelao Kheang and The Good Old Boys.

Celebrating local talents: ‘Arju Autumn Festival’
Ready for a weekend getaway to soak in music, entertainment fused with indigenous games and sports? Head to Tuli for the 2nd day of ‘Arju Autumn Fest.’ The event, organised by Community Educational Centre Society (CECS), aims to “promote and provide platform to untapped local talents for greater avenues and local entrepreneurship,” among others. The main attractions of the festival, the organiser said, would be “Arju Battle of the Bands”, indigenous games and tournament.

Novaturient Managements is all set to organise a ‘mega fashion show’ billed as “Ardour, Fall/Winter 2019” on October 12 at Regional Centre of Excellence for Music & Performing Arts (RCEMPA), Jotsoma. It would be a gala of ‘many style tribes to signal one’s identity and aesthetic code, a philosophy that weaves dreams,’ says the organiser. The show is powered by the Task Force for Music & Arts.

27th Loyem Memorial Trophy 2019
Citizen of Tuensang can look forward for a time quench their sporting passion as they welcome the annual premier tournament - the 27th Loyem Memorial Trophy. The tournament, originally scheduled on October 5, was postponed to October 10 due to some scheduling conflict. Nonetheless, the organiser (Confederation of Chang Students’ Union) guarantees bigger spectacle with enhanced prize money for the Champion as well as individual awards.
