Mokokchung, August 20 (MExN): District Management Unit (DMMU) DAY-NSRLM conducted a three-day ‘cluster level livelihoods training for community service providers under Mahila Kisan Shashaktikaran Pariyojana Program’ at NRLM office DRDA Mokokchung district for all the level of Block staff and CSP under MKSP Program from August 16 to 19.
The programme initiated to promote Agro-ecological Practice that increase woman farmer income and reduce their input cost, risk and drudgery, was attended by around 25 participants.
Takalemba Jamir, DFS (NSLRM), DMMU/DRDA Mokokchung in a press release stated that the resource persons for the programme were Lutfhur, National Resource Person, Takalemba Jamir, DFS, Mokokchung and Purlemla Jamir, DFS, Mokokchung from NSRLM.
The programme was conducted by DAY-NSRLM Mokokchung as a part of the DAY-NSLRM’s Annual Action Plan on MKSP for the FY-2018-2019.
The CSPs under (Agriculture & Livestock) were trained and demonstrated on the Improved Paddy Practices, Seed treatment, Nutrition Gardening, Organic Composting, Pig and Poultry rearing.
