Peren, March 7 (DIPR): The Peren DPDB was held on March 7 at DC’s Conference hall, Peren under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, TR Zeliang.
The house welcomed new members namely, District Urban Development Officer, Pangshang Koleba, SDO (Electrical), Er. Solomon Sekhose, EE (Irrigation & Flood Control), Ketuzo Sophie and DHO, Eyongol Angami.
Chief Minister TR Zeliang reviewed the departmental activities of SP Office Peren and enquired about the law and order situation in the district including the activities of BSNL, PHED, PWD, Urban Development, Peren Government College, DEO Peren and LSRO Peren. The board also discussed on up gradation of GMS, DC colony Peren to high school which was brought up by DEO Peren and approved by the members.
TR Zeliang in his remark thanked the board members for attending the monthly meeting and requested the DC and DPO to maintain attendance register of the planning board. He asked the officers to shift to the new headquarter on completion of their office and requested the officers who do not have office in the new headquarter to submit their proposal for construction of office and staff quarter to the departments concerned as early as possible.
