DIMAPUR, AUGUST 7 (MExN): Nagaland State Chief Minister, TR Zeliang who is also Whip of the NPF Party that supports his leadership today filed a second petition for disqualification 10 MLAs on grounds of defection. A press note from the Chief Minister’s Office informed that the petition was filed “as prescribed by the Members of Nagaland Legislative Assembly (Disqualification on Ground of Defection) Rules, 2003,” against 10 MLAs namely, Kiyanilie Peseyie, Y Vikheho Swu, Chotisuh Sazo, Kuzholuzo Nienu, Yitachu, CL John, N Thongwang Konyak, P Longon, R Tohanba and R Torechu. It may be noted that the Nagaland CM had on August 4 filed a composite Disqualification Petition against the 10 MLAs seeking disqualification under Paragraph 2(1)(b) of the Tenth Schedule.
