CM to visit all villages under Northern Angami-II A/C

Nagaland’s Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio today said that he will pay visit to all villages under 11th Northern Angami-II Assembly Constituency wherein he was elected unopposed in the recent general elections to the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly.  

Rio said that he will be visiting all the villages on phase-wise manner to gather the present status of every village as well as to carry forward further developmental activities.  

Chief Minister said this during a thanksgiving programme organized in his honour by Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) 11th Northern Angami-II Assembly Constituency here at Chiephobozou Ground.  

Rio said the People’s Democratic Party (PDA) government will put utmost effort towards improvement of the state’s economy. He said the state government would lay special emphasis on farming fraternity of the state by putting in place proper mechanism in agri and allied sector. He said that soil testing will be initiated to enable the farmers to cultivate different types of crop based on soil fertility.   Rio assured that the government would support the entrepreneurs to carry forward various business activities across the state. He also announced that talented youth will be also groomed through trainings and capacity buildings, thereby enable them to serve elsewhere or set up their own enterprises. He also told the mammoth gathering that developmental activities will be reached out to every deserving people and LADF will be used judiciously without any bias.  

Stating that his top most priority would be to bring early solution to the Naga political issue, Rio said that he will stand committed in this endeavour. Rio expressed gratitude to the electorates of 11th Northern Angami- II A/C for reposing their faith in his leadership and enable him to come out elected unopposed in the recently concluded state general election. Thanking the support and blessing of each and every individuals, he also look forward their continuous support for all round development.  

Neiyalie Pfiisenuo, president Northern Angami Public Organization (NAPO) and Visasolie Lhoungu, president, BJP Nagaland and chairman NBDA also delivered short speech. Rev. Dr. Tseibu Rutsa, President, leaders for Christ International delivered a message. The function was chaired by Vibeilietuo Kets, president NDPP 11th Northern Angami –II A/C while welcome address was delivered by Dr. Neiphrezo Keditsu, ex-MLA and chairman NKVIB. Vote of thanks was proposed by Theyiekielie Tachii, vice president NDPP Nagaland.  

Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) speaker Vikho-o Yhoshu, rural development advisor Dr. Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire, animal husbandry & veterinary services and women resources advisor R. Khing, youth resources and sports advisor Er. Zale Neikha and several other top party leaders also present at the function.
