Mon, February 3 (MExN): Chi and Mon Land Owners’ Association (CMLOA) has extended support and solidarity towards the ongoing “mass Naga public movement.” CMLOA President, O Kamzei and Assistant General Secretary, Nokban in a press release informed that the Association having unanimously resolved in the emergency meeting convened on February 3 has declared with “pride for having successfully boycotted the election to the Mon Town Council with an end to safeguarding Article 371A of the Indian Constitution which empowers the Nagas to live in tune with the age old Naga customs and traditions and as a protest against the government for the non-implementation of the 1964 agreement.” Also CMLOA vehemently condemns the merciless killings of the innocent Naga public by the autocratic state machineries and pray that their sacrifice does not go in vain in the history of the Nagas. Meanwhile, the CMLOA has extended solidarity and promises to lend every possible support to the ongoing “mass Naga public movement” till the same is resolved to a logical end.
