DIMAPUR, JULY 5 (MExN): Chief Medical Officer, Dimapur has informed all Private Hospitals/Clinics and Private Laboratories under Dimapur District to send blood samples of suspected Dengue and Japanese Encephalitis (J.E) to the Sentinel Surveillance Site at District Hospital Dimapur for confirmation through ELISA Test. Card Test results for Dengue and J.E cases should not be considered as confirmed cases without the ELISA Test, a press note from the CMO Dr K Vikato Kinimi stated. The public has also been requested to insist on ELISA Test at Sentinel Surveillance Site at District Hospital Dimapur for confirmation of Dengue and J.E cases.
