Peren , September 7 (MExN): The Chief Medical Office, Peren District under the chairmanship of Dr Supongmenla, Deputy CMO held it’s District Review Meeting on September 5 at Chief Medical Office conference hall, New Peren.
Dr Nukshisangla Jamir, DPO UIP/RCH highlighted about the target beneficiaries, Reproductive Child Health Implementations and services of Peren District.
Dr Nukshisangla stated that basing on the core indicators, the delivery points meeting the GOI criteria were 5 Health Units. She highlighted that there was progress in total ANC registration whereas 4% ANC was a little low and JSSK free services was 81% and JSY was 95% for the year 2017-18.
She also highlighted about the progress report of the ongoing MRVC in the District, it was stated in a release from DMO, Peren.
Dr Supongmenla reminded the Health Units about the ongoing progress and activity of PMRSSM and said that for Peren District, the District Hospital and Community Health Center at Jalukie were empanelled.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Denis Hangsing requested staffs of all the Health Units to be well prepared for the upcoming MRCV to commence on October 3.
Temsumenla Kipgen, BPM Athibung gave a PPT on the performance under Athibung block. She indicated various aspects of activities as well the targets and achievements of all the Health units under Athibung Block.
Attending the meeting, Visevino Khrieo, AHANA Project Officer, highlighted the objectives and process of HIV & Syphillis screening in ANC.
She also reported the successful training conducted for the ANM’s of the various health units of Peren District. She also conveyed that a refresher training course will be conducted at the block level in the coming days.
The meeting was attended by the District Programme Officers, nurses, pharmacist, DAPCU staffs, District and Block Program Management Unit Staff NHM.
