Impact Her Nagaland team members, medical officers and staffs from medical department Wokha along with beneficiaries during the medical camp at Longtsung village under Sanis block on September 24.

WOKHA, SEPTEMBER 24 (MExN): Impact Her Nagaland, a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) in collaboration with Medical Department Wokha organized a medical camp at Longtsung village under Sanis block on September 24.
Zanbeni Yanthan, President, Impact Her Nagaland said the NGO aims to empower rural women through economic growth, healthcare and education. Yanthan said the medical camp was organized in order to provide health services to rural women as well as the local populace from Longtsung, Morakjo and Sheruechak villages. She also expressed gratitude to the medical department for their support in organizing medical camp.
Deputy Chief Medical Officer Wokha, Dr Zuchamo Patton urged the beneficiaries to take the opportunity in generating Chief Minister’s Health Card Insurance Card scheme. Health services such as non communicable diseases screening, HIV test, syphilis, malaria test, sputum collection for TB test, blood grouping, general health check up, dental check up, etc were available during the medical camp. The beneficiaries were also provided with free medicines and IEC leaflets on TB, Anemia, family planning etc.
Longtsung Village Council Chairman, Mathew Mozhui thanked the medical department and Impact Her Nagaland for conducting the medical camp. Medical team consisted of Senior Medical Officer of Sanis CHC, medical officers, staffs of Longtsung HWC, DAPCU, RNTCP, MMU, NUHM and RBSK.
