DIMAPUR, DEC 30 (MExN): The Council of Nagalim Churches (CNC), NSCN (IM) has ardently appealed to all national workers to observe a special time of prayer (if possible with fasting) on December 31 “and thus prepare to enter into the New Year 2006 with newness of life.” Secondly, all units of the NSCN-wherever they are- have been informed that January 8, 2006 will be observed as the first national prayer day of the coming year. All pastors, chaplains and responsible leaders of the units have been directed to take the initiative and conduct a solemn prayer service on the said day. The CNC is also organizing a Solemn Prayer Service on January 8 at CHQ Church, Hebron. All national workers have been requested to attend the prayer service along with their wives and children.
