
Dimapur, January 6 (MExN): The Council of Nagalim Churches has informed that it is making January 8 a “special prayer day” for the Naga Nation.
A press release from the CNC extending New Year greetings stated that it is a day to thank and praise God for all the blessings bestowed. “It is a day to give testimonies of the greatness of the Lord and magnify His great name among the people. It is also a day to renew our faith in Jesus Christ as we worship Him in a special way,” the release stated.
In this regard, the CNC has asked all national workers and leaders to turn up at the Council Headquarters Church, Hebron and participate on the day.
Prayer will be the main feature of the programme, the release stated adding, “We will earnestly pray for the goodwill of all of the people.”
Some of the prayer points listed included – praying for members of the Collective Leadership, Naga legislators and Members of Indian Parliament, Naga students and civil societies etc.
