Dimapur, March 16 (MExN): Council of Nagalim Churches (CNC) has reminded of the Prayer & Fasting programme scheduled for March 18.
A press release from CNC general secretary, Rev. Seksim Kasar requested all the National Workers living in and around Dimapur and Peren districts to come to Hebron for the “important” prayer service. To those who are living in far off places, it requested to organize a “beautiful prayer program” and earnestly pray for the nation with fasting.
The service at CHQ Church, Hebron will start at 9:00 am on March 18, it was informed.
Meanwhile, CNC appealed to “all souls living in Nagalim or wherever they are as true sons and daughters of the Nagas, to earnestly pray as if you are on pain of death. Who knows this may be the last call for the Nagas to come to the Lord and receive the promises He had made in time past. We should not miss this blessing for no reason. We cannot afford to lose it anymore.”
It also urged to “retrospect our history and recount the great and mighty works of God which He had done in our midst. Let us give thanks to Him with grateful hearts for all the gracious works He had done for the Nagas…let us yield to Him by submitting our hearts to His will and recommitting our lives to the noble cause of the people for which we are called.”
Further, CNC suggested the following prayer points: 1. Pray for the forgiveness of our individual sin 2. Pray for forgiveness of our national sin 3. Give thanks to Him with a grateful heart for all of His benefits. 4. Pray for God’s help to save and sustain the Naga nation 5. Prayer for self: Recommitment to the cause/calling and submission to the will of God.
