CNCCI appeals ULB elected members to work with outmost sincerity

Dimapur, June 29 (MExN): The Confederation of Nagaland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CNCCI), while congratulating the newly elected ULB members, said “it looks forward that all the elected leaders will work with outmost sincerity and give their best to make our towns and cities better irrespective of their party affiliation.”

It said that towns and cities in Nagaland lacked far behind in all spheres compared to other parts of India due to unfortunate inability to hold ULB election.

The CNCCI through its Media Affairs stated in a press release that the business community as the main stakeholder of ULBs by way of contributing the major chunk of revenue for their fiscal budgetary needs looks forward to work with the newly elected members of the ULBs for the development and progress of our towns and cities.

The CNCCI also “gently” reminded the CM of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio to address “our long pending demand put forth to his office through proper procedural and democratic means as the business community in Nagaland bears silent burnt of injustices at all levels.” It stated that the business community genuinely deserves to be given voice as empowering all section of people is fundamental principal of the ULBs. 

Further, it appealed “that the government magnanimity with positive response to our demands will be pioneering in empowering business community and will go down in the annals of history of business community of India and will send positive message of conducive business environment outside and across.”
