CNSA calls for probe into Tuensang fiasco

Requests Governor’s intervention

 

Dimapur, May 30 (MExN): The Central Naga Students’ Association (CNSA) wrote to the Governor of Nagaland demanding for a thorough probe to be conducted on the “mishandling” of the returnees from Tuensang and Eastern Naga areas.


It called for the initiation of strict action “as per the request of the Eastern Naga Students Federation.”


The Association also demanded the formation of an anti corruption cell in Nagaland under the direct supervision of the Governor, and requested for ensuring equal distribution of development in the State.


In its letter to the Governor, the CNSA has called for the Governor’s intervention during the pandemic.


It requested for upgradation of all District Hospitals and community Health centers in the State to be equipped with basic minimum equipment and facilities to cater to the patients arising out of this pandemic.
