CNSA urges negotiators to have mutual respect

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 27 (MExN): The Central Nagaland Students Association (CNSA), while expressing its support to the Indo-Naga political process, has urged all negotiating teams to “understand the sentiments of the people and their desire for early and amicable solution for peace and progress of our nation.” A press release from the CNSA media cell reminded the negotiators to uphold the principles of mutual respect and honour the Framework Agreement and the Preamble signed with NSCN (IM) and the WC NNPGs while working towards an honourable, acceptable and inclusive settlement for the benefit of both the Indian Union and the Naga People. It acknowledged the Government of India for “recognising the peculiar identity of the Nagas and for giving assurance for an early solution.”
